A member of our business office staff will contact your insurance company prior to surgery and verify your medical benefits for our facility charge. Our charges cover your pre-operative evaluation, most supplies and medications, equipment, personnel and use of the operating and recovery rooms. If you do not have insurance or your insurance does not cover the procedure to be performed, you will be responsible for making payment on or before the day of your procedure. |
It is also our policy to collect any unmet deductibles or known co-payments or co-insurance on or before the day of a procedure. A financial counselor will contact you in advance of your procedure to inform you of the amount that will be due. Payment in full is expected at the time of service.
For your convenience, EOSC accepts cash, money orders or certified checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. At your request, we can also perform a direct debit to your checking account. Please note that personal checks are not accepted.
For those patients unable to pay the full amount due on the day of their procedure, financing may be available. If you require financing, please tell our staff when you are contacted with your amount due as a minimum of 48 hours lead time is required to process and approve your request for financing.
- In addition to our facility fee, you may receive separate bills for the following services:
- Your physician or surgeon.
- Anesthesia, if it was necessary for an anesthesiologist to participate in your procedure.
- Laboratory testing, radiology imaging or pathology, if tissues or specimens were removed during surgery.
